Second Hand Books

So you have some textbooks left over from your last course and don't know what to do with them or would like to sell them without any hassle - we know that as a student you don't need to be running around trying to sell last years books when you should be concentrating on your work!

This is where we come in - we will take your book providing it meets the conditions of The Rules below, we'll display your book in our shop (where all the students come for their books, so there's a higher chance your book will sell quicker) and pay you as soon as the book is sold - it's that easy!

The Rules

• Textbooks must be in good condition.
• We can only sell on behalf, this means that we will display your book in our shop and send you a cheque as soon as we sell it. We cannot give you the money up front I'm afraid.
• We will only take current editions for a course that is running.
• We will pay you 40% of the price you originally paid for the text once it's sold.
• We have a minimum holding period of three months - this means that we have the exclusive rights to sell your book during that timeframe and that you will be unable to retrieve your book during that period.
• When you bring your books in we may be busy - sometimes we will ask you to leave them with us so we can assess their suitability - please bear with us, we want to give you the best possible service!
• Second hand transactions are completely separate to new textbook sales - we cannot use a second hand book as part payment for a new book - sorry.
